Ryszard has been in the Specialty Chemical Industry since 1993 and founded Orlichem in 2008. On starting Orlichem he was involved in every aspect from securing customers to hand mixing the first batches of products. He is highly passionate about his team and solving challenging problems for his customers. Ryszard’s focus is now more on the strategic development and positioning of the company. Liz joined Orlichem in 2017. She has over 20 years in Senior Business Management and Operations and is passionate about developing people. Liz’s favourite part of the job is the daily challenge of ensuring all departments integrate and function at maximum capacity. Her unique management style and expertise ensure that Orlichem continues to operate smoothly, efficiently and productively on a daily basis thereby meeting all customers’ needs. Alex has over 40 years of Senior Management Experience specializing in the Hospitality and Laundry industry. He has been with Orlichem since 2019 and has a passion for sales and new business development.

Meryn has been at Orlichem since 2021 taking on the role of Operations Manager. She has over 20 years of experience in the chemical industry and over 8 years in the manufacturing and operations of a chemical business. Meryn has streamlined the operations and become an integral part of Orlichem.

Wisia joined our team at Orlichem in 2023 to take control of Orlichem’s finance and administration department. She is service driven, business focused, cost conscious and provides great support to the business by implementing strategies to guide and future proof the business. She interacts closely with customers and department heads to provide accurate financial reporting. Wisia believes that the customer account experience is to be well managed with good communication at all times. Qualifications: Man. Accounting & Finance

Chantelle has been a Technical Sales Consultant at Orlichem since 2017 focusing particularly on the Marine division of the company. Her customer centric approach means that she will go above and beyond to ensure a solution for her clients. Chantelle has a strong drive toward eliminating single-use plastic and her projects are saving tons of plastic each year onboard major fishing and research vessels.

Darryl started working at Orlichem’s Cape Town office in 2016 as a Sales Order Administrator (Internal Sales) and then moved to the position of Warehouse Supervisor in 2018. Darryl is currently the Operations Manager for the Johannesburg branch of Orlichem. He enjoys having to plan, organize, and action the stock through its various journeys and facilitate seamless interaction between Orlichem and its customers. Qualifications: Dip in Credit Management 1,2,3 & Dip Warehouse management

Bert has varied experience in the chemical industry which has provided him with a solid foundation to seamlessly integrate into our team and efficiently manage stock and logistics. Bert is a dedicated team member who is committed to ensuring exceptional customer service.

Gwida has been with Orlichem since 2014, first as a Sales Administrator and now as Procurement Manager. She is passionate about relationship building with suppliers and her favourite part of the job is negotiating the daily challenges of sourcing raw materials at the best prices.

Rayaanah joined Orlichem in 2016 first as a Receptionist and is currently in the position of Sales Administrator. Her pivotal role between operations and the customer, as well as her electrifying enthusiasm, ensures optimal customer satisfaction and delivery.

Ren joined Orlichem in 2022. She is enthusiastic about making others smile by helping with customer collections and inquiries, finance, admin and marketing.   She is the friendly face who receives our customers and suppliers at our beautiful new premises in Atlantic Hills. Her accurate administrative skills add great value to all areas of the business.

Portia has been at Orlichem since 2018. She assists with administrative functions and keeps the office in tip-top shape ready for staff and customers. She is always ready to grab you a water or a delicious cappuccino upon your arrival.

André has been with the company for over 15 years. In his current role as Technical Sales Consultant he problem solves and advises customers on the best solutions across the Western Cape in the Laundry and Kitchen divisions.

Danian started out at Hudson Chemicals which was acquired by Orlichem in 2016. He focusses on Sales in the Industrial and Engineering sectors. Danian enjoys both meeting new clients and looking after long-standing customers. He loves doing demonstrations and trials with Orlichem’s diverse product range in order to provide customers with the best chemical solutions.

Gareth has 20 years of experience in the Process Engineering field, providing equipment, site services and factory design for clients’ processing needs. He focuses on serving clients in the Industrial and Food & Beverage sectors and is particularly passionate about assisting his clients with their cleaning and CIP solutions.

Pat is part of our Johannesburg branch and has been in the chemical industry since 1996, working as a chemical application specialist in the largest industrial laundry in South Africa. He specializes in chemical applications and solutions for commercial and industrial laundries running continuous batch washers and washer extractors. He aims to ensure cost-effective quality while providing sound technical support, troubleshooting, and fault-finding within the total wash process.

Siphosethu joined the Orlichem Laboratory Team in 2023 as our Technical Product and Quality Controller. She works diligently and meticulously to ensure that all aspects of a product’s life, from experimental design to production through to sales, is handled efficiently and effectively. She is passionate about product compliance, improvement, and testing of manufactured chemicals to ensure that they meet standards of quality, reliability, value, and safety. Qualifications: BSc Chemistry & Physiology, BSc (Hons) Formulation Science

Mpilwenhle is passionate about sustainability – specifically, sustainable chemical solutions. She strives to deliver precise and accurate results through validated analysis methods and LEAN Management systems. She has a background in quality control and manufacturing and strives to improve quality management systems. Qualifications: N.Dip (Analytical Chemistry)
