Application (How To Use)
The recommended initial dosage is 1 litre per 10 tons of salt water ballast (1000 litres per 10 000 tons of ballast water).In subsequent re-ballasting of treated tanks, the make up 3,5 litres per 100 tons of ballast water. The preferred method of treating salt water is proportional metering into the sea water during ballasting. When the tanks to be treated are already full and de-ballasting is impractical, distribution in such tanks can be achieved by air agitation.
