CIRCLEAN EF is specifically designed for circulation cleaning or C.I.P. Cleaning In Place, in dairies, bottling and food manufacturing plants.
It is also named EF to denote environmentally friendly, as it is considerably more environmentally acceptable than many other caustic based circulation cleaning powder products.
CIRCLEAN EF is a highly caustic powder product with controlled wetting to reduce foaming. It has the following advantages and benefits:
Its high caustic content allows it to emulsify and saponify the heaviest deposits of oils and fats. It has long tank life and can be used at very low dilutions. Experience proves that CIRCLEAN EF has powerful sanitizing properties as well.
The wetting agents and sequestrants incorporated in the product ensure that even in hard water areas, soil films are easily penetrated, and rinsing is easily facilitated to leave surfaces bright and deposit free.
The water softening and sequestering properties of CIRCLEAN EF ensure that no films of precipitated metal irons are allowed to build up from salts present in the water. These films or scale formations would harbour bacteria, which could contaminate foodstuff.

Application (How To Use)
Dairies and Bottling plants: Concentration: 2-3 grams per litre Temperature: 70C -80C. Time: 15 -20 minutes. Method: Circulation Only in severe cases should it be necessary to go to 2 or 3% as used for bottle washing. In the case of removal of wine stone a 5% solution is frequently used followed by a fresh water rinse and the equipment is then sanitized with a 2.5% solution of HUDROX and a final fresh water rinse. For the preparation of the bath or tank from which the CIRCLEAN EF is pumped, heat the water to 60C first and sprinkle the CIRCLEAN EF in, preferably with agitation, to make sure it all dissolves. Take great care that there is no splashing as the CIRCLEANEF will heat the bath further and the hot caustic solution will result in burns if it comes into contact with skin or eyes. For spray cleaning or for use as a heavy duty liquid cleaner by manual application or pressure washer use at a dilution rate of 10 to 30 grams per litre.
