PRO 41 | STAINLESS STEEL CLEANER
PRO 41 is a clear acidic liquid compound which is used for cleaning stainless steel. It also retards redulling of the cleaned surface by leaving the surface fully passivated.
Stainless steel is, despite its name subject to discolouration from several sources. The 4 major causes of this discolouration are:
1. Fine ferrous or iron particles left in the surface by the machinery used in manufacturing the articles for e.g.: the rollers in forming a tank or simply ferrous parts with which it may come into contact on the workshop floor.
2. Industrial or atmospheric fallout, fingerprints and forming oils which dull and dirty the surface.
3. Hard water scale, particularly where cooling water is run over the outside of tanks as is done in wineries.
4. Growth of algae in moist conditions such as occurs in wineries or breweries
PRO 41 has been especially formulated to remove and combat the recurrence of these problem sources. PRO 41 is designed to remove ferrous oxide stains without touching the stainless steel itself. It will in addition not be detrimental to mild steel or other metals. Likewise, the hard water scale, industrial or atmospheric fallout and algae growth are loosened and may be flushed away.
Health & Safety
PRO 41 is an acidic product and must be handled with care. In case of accidental contact the affected area should be washed off well with soap and water. In the case of serious burns medical advice should be sought.
Full protective clothing such as gloves, eye or face shield and rubber boots must be worn.

Application (How To Use)
PRO 41 should be washed, brushed or applied by broom onto the surface, with a scrubbing action, from the bottom up. Best results are obtained where the surface is allowed to remain wet with PRO 41 for at least half an hour but preferably 2 hours. Consequently the item should not be cleaned while hot or in direct sunlight which would cause the PRO41 to dry out before the cleaning process has been completed. A rinse off with fresh water and a little agitation with a soft scrubbing brush or broom, again from the bottom up is all that is required after the desired contact time has taken place. It is free rinsing but must not be allowed to dry before being washed off as it can be difficult to remove should it dry on the surface.
